Service Descriptions
Initial consultation: A 15-20 minute initial call by phone. This is a good time for a brief chat about you, your situation and what you are seeking help with. You can get a feel for how we would work together, and we’ll tell you straight away how we can help.
Full consultation: This meeting takes one hour. During this time we will review the necessary paperwork which will be emailed to you ahead of our meeting. This includes items such as our privacy statement and confidentiality. This is also a great opportunity to answer any questions that may be on your mind. After this phase, our focus moves toward discussing your situation and what you’d like to achieve from therapy. All the information discussed during this meeting forms the basis of your treatment plan. You will find an in-depth description of your full consultation detailed in Step 2 of our 6-Step Guide of what to expect.
Therapy sessions: These meetings take one hour. We use this time to work on what ever you bring to therapy. If it deviates from your original therapeutic aims then we will discuss the direction you wish to take because therapy is not a linear process. Therefore, it often brings up material which you discover has become more important to explore.
